The International Leprosy Association is on-line, at www.leprosy-ila.org. We invite you to visit this site and to give us additional information to be posted there.

You may now pay your annual dues through this website.

To do so, click “JOIN” on the menu bar at the top of the page. This will take you to another page where you can choose to apply on-line or to print out a copy of the application form.

If you choose to print out the form, please send it to the ILA, with your annual dues of $80.00, through the mail.

The on-line application form is still in development, but for members payment may be made directly by clicking on the “PayPal.com” icon. This will take you to the PayPal page, and you will be asked to type in your name, credit card to be charged, address, and telephone number for the owner of that card, and a valid e-mail address for yourself. You will also be asked to select a PayPal password, and to follow simple instructions for their security system to avoid fraudulent use of the site.

Once you submit this information, PayPal will need about 1 minute to confirm the credit card number, and then you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your membership and subscription. In the future, PayPal will automatically deduct your dues annually unless you instruct your credit card company not to pay.

For now, if you are joining on-line, please also send your name and e-mail address directly to “E-mail: leprosy-ila.org” to ensure you have been added to the membership list.

* We welcome ideas from members who are willing to submit content for the members only portion of the site.

* We also welcome interested members to develop bulletin boards that they will maintain, for the exchange of information on various topics related to leprosy.
